About Ontario Shores

Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) is a psychiatric hospital, located 45 minutes east of Toronto in Whitby. Ontario Shores has a team of experts who provide a range of specialized inpatient and outpatient programs and services from adolescents to seniors. Patients benefit from a recovery-oriented environment of care, built on compassion, inspiration and hope. Ontario Shores engages in research, education and advocacy initiatives to advance the mental health care system.

Ontario Shores Foundation is dedicated to providing financial resources to support the hospital. Specifically, the Foundation supports innovative programs of care, research, and education; mental health promotion, mental illness awareness and stigma-reduction initiatives; and, building and renewal of facilities and grounds.
